Volunteer Training Registration

How it works

  1. Fill out Shepherd’s Heart Ministry volunteer form.

  2. Build your volunteer profile. You will be emailed a link to share your existing skills, operational interests and volunteer goals. 

  3. The LCMS LERT Volunteer Software will allow you to create a Volunteer Account.

  4.  “Fan” each District where you would like to see their trainings and deployments.

  5. Attend Basic LERT training BEFORE taking Chainsaw or other trainings.

  6. Check your email for links to announcements, trainings, and deployments.

  7. When you sign up to deploy: Most deployments require a background check which will be $20 and is good for 1 year.

  8. Deployment details (when, where, what skills needed, lodging, etc.) will be emailed through the Volunteer Software at www.lcms-lert.org.
